Well hello there! It’s been a couple, ok well, it’s been 3+ weeks, since the last time I did this and there’s a very good reason for it. So let’s dive in and get started with our Weekly Notes that I’ve chosen to call Cliff’s Notes.
Work Has Been BUSY!
Everyone at work was telling me that starting around November 15th or so it would get really busy, and I wasn’t sure what to expect since this is my first holiday, or as we call it at Skylight, our Q4, to be working here. But let me tell you, things have gotten CRAZY BUSY! We have tickets coming into the queue all day long, making several phone calls every day, taking numerous live chats and so much more.
Personally, I like it a lot, as it keeps me busy and usually makes the day go by pretty quickly. Plus it’s really given me the chance to really learn the ins and outs of my job and get to know the product the best that I possibly can.
Because of how busy we’ve been, I’ve just had little to no time to be able to focus on other things such as these posts and more. I hope to change that and do my best to get back to these regularly, so be patient with me if you can.
Video Game Time
My video game time happens in the mornings before I start work. Simply because I know I won’t have time during the day and after work I’m tired and ready to relax and call it a night.
I’ve been playing Arc Raiders every morning so far and really enjoying it. I think I’m currently level 25 and while I don’t do the PvP stuff, I do enjoy the PvE stuff. However, I’ve killed a few Raiders here and there along the way to get some decent loot. Definitely a game I recommend and will keep playing for a while longer.
I also purchased Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault which I haven’t started yet, but definitely need to make that happen soon.
I tried to play Where Winds Meet, which is actually a free game, and just couldn’t get into it at all. Just wasn’t clicking for whatever strange reason so I gave up and uninstalled it. Maybe you’ll have a different experience and if so, please let me know.
The last and final game on this list this week is SoulFrame, from the makers of WarFrame, a game I’ve never played but watched a bit of on Twitch. I was given early access by some Discord friends which I’m thankful for. I’ve only played about 2 hours at the most so far as I’ve really been into Arc Raiders. I don’t have much to say on this one yet, but it has good potential for sure.
General Life Stuff
To be honest, there hasn’t been much of this due to the fact that the wife and I are both working and staying super busy as I mentioned above. We didn’t get a chance to go anywhere new this past Monday because that was when we celebrated or had our Thanksgiving meal. However, Bianca was very sick so that day wasn’t the most enjoyable for either of us. She’s doing better, thankfully, but still recovering a bit.
Final Thoughts
To be honest, nothing too exciting has happened over the last several weeks while I’ve not been doing these posts. Just staying busy at work and playing video games and taking care of the house. Not sure that will be changing for at least the rest of this month and likely going into January as this is our busiest time of the year at Skylight. So we shall see, but hopefully I can get stay on schedule with these posts!
