Yet another week has passed so here I am today wring up my weekly Cliff’s Notes of things I did during the week. To be honest, this was a pretty boring week for me all around. But let’s dive in and get started.

Time Change

I started with this last week and I’m going to start with it again this week. Time change happened and let me tell you, I still completely agree it’s one of the dumbest things we do. It’s pointless, meaningless and just down right irritating to say the very least. Can we please abolish this!

Video Games

This week I finished Outer Worlds 2 with just around 30 hours into the game. It was kind of short, or at least to me it was. Mainly because I’d love for this game to be hundreds of hours long as it’s that good. If you haven’t played it, I highly recommend it.

I started a new game just a few days ago and it’s called Escape from Duckov. Yes, you read the title correctly. Like Outer Worlds 2, this game is just a ton of fun and something I discovered by watching Gladd on Twitch.

What is Escape from Duckov you ask? Escape from Duckov is a PVE indie survival RPG — in a duck’s world!. Scavenge for resources, build your hideout, and upgrade your gear in the world of Duckov. Start from nothing and rise to the top. Outwit hostile ducks, survive, or make it out alive.

It appears it’s going to be a pretty decently long game. I think I’m about 10 – 12 hours into it and only on the second map currently. I think there’s something like 6 – 7 maps, but I could be wrong.

The Work Life

Work is work and while we aren’t getting busy quite yet for Black Friday/Cyber Monday and the rest of the holidays, I know it’s coming very soon. I’ve been learning as much as I can and I of course absolutely love it so far. I love the company, Skylight, that I’m working for as well as the folks I’m working with.

Yesterday I was more by myself than I have been since I started, and I feel I did pretty well with tickets. I still have a lot to learn but I feel I’ve learned a lot in the first 3 – 4 weeks. Crazy that I’ve been there almost a month already. As they say, time flies when you’re having fun, and I’m actually having fun at my job again unlike at the previous place.

Final Thoughts

I’m going to go ahead and wrap it up there. As I stated in the beginning, it was a slow, boring week for me really so I don’t have too much to write about.
