Once again, kind of changing up how I post these Cliff’s Notes posts. I’ve tried to do them every week, but personally I think that’s a bit too often. So I’ve decided I’m just going to do them every two to three weeks and I’m simply going to name them chronological order for the year. So since this is the third one I’m doing this year, I’m calling it Episode Three. Makes sense, huh? Cool! I thought so too.
Work Related Stuff
We’re currently waiting on and going through a lot of changes at work. A lot of GOOD changes that is. We’re hiring more folks as we realized during our Q4 that we definitely need more folks due to just how busy we get during the busy times. Our next one is around Mother’s Day, so we need to be prepared.
Several folks are also being promoted, including myself. I’ll talk more about that very soon. Just waiting on things to be made official.
Skylight is still an amazing place to work and I’m absolutely loving it as well as the people I work with and will be working with going forward. Again, more on that soon!
Personal Stuff
Not much going on personally to be honest. We survived the snow and ice storms over the past week or so. We ended up with somewhere between 5 to 6 inches of snow, which is the most we’ve seen during the four years since we moved here in late January 2022. We still have quite a bit of snow and ice both on the ground, especially in the yards and stuff. We even still have a little bit left on the neighborhood roads, but it’s getting better.
Video Game Stuff
Nothing too much new in this section. I’ve been playing Hytale a bit here and there as well as thinking about picking up Nioh 3 when it comes out Friday. I’ve never played any of the Nioh series, but this one looks super fun. I guess I’ll give it a try and see how it goes.
Wrapping It All Up
That’s about it for this episode. I know, kind of boring and nothing too exciting but that will likely change in the next episode as I will hopefully have all sorts of good work related stuff to share if all goes as I’m hoping and being told.
